I've had 2 owls for quite a while now, although I really like owls, using 2 of my 3 pet slots with them seems a little silly. I
was thinking of getting a Bloodfalcon from Botanica.
My only reservation is taking it into instances. Fire Breath breaks CC and that can be a huge problem. One that I never had to worry about with Screech.
I was thining a way round it would be to take Fire Breath off autofire
when fighting groups and manually trigger it when I know it's safe to do so. Putting it back on autofire for bosses.
The downside to this is, while I like having a lot to do, and one more button click aint exactly hard, it takes focus away from my shot rotation. Admittedly I use a somewhat more lax shot rotation on trash mobs anyway.
Reason I'm posting is, I'd like to hear from other Hunters who use Dragonhawks in instances and their experiences. I'm not too worried about it's prowess in soloing, almost any pet is fine for that (although some PvP discussion might help as my guild is forming a 5v5 arena team soon)-Verata - Blood Elf Death Knight
Peloquin - Troll Hunter
Cenobite - Undead Warlock
Znakharka - Draenei Shaman
Rasen
- Night Elf Druid

PS: i mostly play D-Get up off that thang!!! And Dance till u feel betta!!!ok so here it is. i chose this set-up because it gives me the most control, more abilities to manipulate my enemy. example: Deterence, Counterstrike, Wyvern sting, etc. more survivability
