well, without seeing his rotations or gear, all ian by is that you said he uses pestilee and blood boil. those two are probably the reason why he is ahead in overall damage.
my guess is that when there are groups of mobs, what is probably happening is this: y toh -> plague strike -> pestilee (all the mobs around now have 2 diseases on them) -> blood boil auses the diseases to erupt and the mobs all take damage). Link to this Jan 15th 4:25pm : Logged Reply to

C'mon. The guy blasts everything in the zode with moderately powerful aoe attks and you wonder why his overall damage tops yours? You're trying toompare apples and oranges. I'm sure you blow him out of the water on single target dps.
For Frost AoE I've found it best to use: y Toh, Blood Strike (to give the tank a D to build threat), Pest, Howling Blast, then OBFS dump. Works great. If you're looking at overall damage through the run, Blood will likely lag behind Frost just a bit with all the AoE pulls. And espially at that level where weapon ale is wonky and Blood wouldn't get the full benefit of better weapons.
Thats one of the big down falls of blood you lk any real good AoE. Its one of the resones I resped to frost. If you ask me though frosts ability to pump out dps is realy under rated. Every one sees frost as the tank sp and the lowest dps sp of dk. Though I
may be sped more on the dps side of frost instead of tanking I find my single target dps is rather good. Im 63 atm and have had FSsrit for 1900+ and all of my main dmg attks are runing around a 30%rit rate. May be at 80 frost falls way behind blood and unholy but at my lvl I seem to be doing just fine.
