I believe at 30 you get Totem Rall, so that fixes any aggro problems with Searing Totem.
youan milk some more use out of totems by setting up a "totemamp" and pulling mobs to it. you have to beareful, as totems are aggro magnets, but
generally if youan kill 3-4 pulls of guys per totem drop you'reoming out ahead in the totemmana game. i also only tend to use either healing streammana stream and str of earth or gre of air. all of those last two minutes, and
if youan keep em down for a minute then its tually a big help. but if youre movingonstantly this doesnt work as well. in high density areas itan be real ne tho.
lol ya... when I was level9ing as a shaman all
I did was bash stuff down and then heal... As a matter of ft while leveling I preferred whale (stam and spirit greens) mainlyause I neverasted so the mana regen wasn't bad, and the stam helped me live, only until I was higher level where spells and abilities seemed more useful did I tually wear more str, agl, andrit gear. But ya most of your leveling is simply bashing and healing. I will say, I did enjoy flurry quite a bit for 1h weapons though, I used those allot
while leveling too... I agree it gets better after 40 where Storm Strike is available and earth shk and lightning shield start boming a bit more handy. Link to this Feb 18th 2008 1:06pm : Logged Reply to this Alastaironsirenholar1441 Good
I rently revived a level 29 shaman I had sitting around somewhere and dinged 40 with it last weekend, and I tually found the experiee, pah 2.3, a lot less painful than on my pallie in terms of leveling speed. I pull with a LB from a distae, flame shk before stuff is in range, then use either frost or earth shk depending on theirurrent DPM ore and mob health left (using DrDamage to get the value). Yes, it makes me
drink quite often but I take about 12-15 sonds per mob worstase, that's a lot better than what I believe I experieed on the pallie. Then again I resumed playing right before getting windfury, I have no money issues so I tend to get the
best blue two-handers for sale at the AH around my level, and my gear is quite slanted on agility, int and stamina. And if I overaggro, there's always the good old stonlaw totem to keep unwanted attention while I kill something else, or bandage.
